Causeway Yarn 4ply- Periwinkle
The Causeway Yarn is my hyper-local-to-me yarn- a blend of Oxford Down and Teeswater from one prize winning flock, looked after by Malcolm McClenaghan and his son. The flock usually stay between Ballymoney and Portrush in the lush green fields we have here. The Teeswater gives the yarn lustre and the Oxford Down gives it bounce and crimpiness, resulting in a beautifully lustrous and bouncy woollen spun yarn. Perfect yarn for sweaters, cardigans (especially colourwork!), shawls, mittens, hats….or tiny scarves!
