Autumn Equinox Club 2022

Imagine walking through a forest on a crisp autumn day, leaves rustling and crunching underfoot. what sort of colours would emerge when you really look?

The concept for this quarter will be “Forest Tapestry”.

I had hoped to create a sea-themed Equinox/ Solstice Club for every quarter this year, but the concept of Forest Tapestry came to me in a moment of unusual clear headedness and I couldn’t pass it by.

Think earthy browns, tinge’s of luminous yellow coming through greens.

Here are the particulars- this box will include:

- A naturally dyed mini skein set of Natural Sock (6 x 20g mini’s)

- A naturally dyed full skein of Natural Sock (100g)

- A set of two progress keepers by local Fermanagh polymer clay artist Cast & Clay

- An A5 art print made me me. Taken on an analogue medium format camera and digitally printed.

I thought you might also be interested in seeing what camera I use to take your art prints- it’s a Bronica Zenza I’ve had since my student days. It’s a beauty of a camera and takes rolls of 120mm film. I bought it off one of my tutors friends who was selling it (thanks Neil, you won’t be reading this I’m sure!). It’s 6x4.5 format and has a really satisfying focus mechanism and shutter release. Well, enough of my geeking out. Would you ever be interested in a little ‘print shop’ section of the website?
